Ken Zoll Studio
ABOUT Ken Zoll Studio

I left the corporate world in 2004 as Chief Information Officer of a multi-billion dollar, multi-employer pension plan in Chicago. I was responsible for all information technology matters from mainframes to client-server networks, from software application to web development. I also spent a very interesting two years in Washington, D.C. as Executive Director of a Presidential Advisory Committee for President George H. Bush.

During these years, I occassionally retreated to a basement studio and taught myself to paint for personal pleasure and stress relief. Although I had done drawings in college (even had a small student exhibit at Loyola University of Chicago), I had never attempted oils until 1996. Many of the works in my personal collection are presented on this site.

In addition to oil painting, I have began to create sculptures that will eventually be bronzed. Although mostly self-taught in sculpting, I did take classes at the Art Institute of Chicago and studied at the studio of sculptor Omri Amrani, noted for his sculpture of Michael Jordan at Chicago's United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls. As this facet of my work progresses, representative pieces will be added to the site.

My wife and I now reside in Sedona, Arizona.
Thank you for visiting.
